Kohl is a mixed martial arts fighter who rides his bike on a quiet road. One day he sees a tiny opossum lying alone on the pavement. He stops his bike because his instinct tells him the animal needs help.
Kohl gently picks up the fragile creature and decides to rescue it. He does not know how to care for an orphaned opossum, but he learns step by step. He finds a safe shelter in his garage and looks up simple tips online. He becomes the animal’s caretaker, giving it food, water, and a warm place to sleep. The little opossum, named Rodrigo, soon follows Kohl everywhere. It rides on his shoulder like a tiny companion. The fighter and the marsupial share a short journey from the roadside to a daily routine of walks, meals, and play. Their growing bond shows how people can help wildlife in need.
Now Rodrigo is safe and happy, and Kohl enjoys the company of his new friend. The story reminds us that a small act of kindness can change a life.
