The famous 900-year-old Norwich castle has finally reopened its doors after a massive £27.5 million project. You can now step inside this ancient structure and see how kings and queens lived hundreds of years ago.

This big renovation took several years to finish, but the wait was worth it for visitors of all ages. Workers repaired the old stone walls, added modern lifts, and created wide ramps so that every area is now fully accessible to guests with wheelchairs or strollers. Inside, you can explore five full floors filled with colorful interactive games, ancient weapons, and royal clothing. The project leaders wanted to make this place special, turning it into a true "People's palace" where everyone can learn about medieval history in an exciting way. Each display shows objects that tell stories about daily life, famous battles, and ancient trades. You can even walk along the top floors to enjoy a wonderful view of the whole city, making it a complete historical experience for your family. The team worked hard to keep the original stones safe while bringing in modern tools to teach young visitors about the past.
