Why there are no pigeons at Wimbledon

Wimbledon, a famous tennis tournament, has a problem with pigeons. For a long time, pigeons would come to the courts and peck at the grass. They would also interrupt the game when it was very important. In 1999, a pigeon interrupted a player's serve during a big match. This caused funny scenes as a ball boy tried to chase the pigeon away. To solve the problem, the All England Club got a hawk named Rufus. Rufus flies around the courts and scares the pigeons away. Now, Rufus is very important at Wimbledon and has his own special pass.
